General description

     The peptone is produced by enzymatic digestion of high quality animal tissue, decolorization, concentration and spray drying process, It is used in the preparation of general culture media. As a microbiological grade reagents, its  application includes molecular biology, gene engineering, antibiotics, pharmaceutical industry, fermentation industry, chemical and biological products.

Solubility

    It is easy to dissolve in water. The 2% water solution is clear, light yellow to brownish yellow. There is no precipitatation under high temperature and high pressure conditions with alkalinity and phosphates.

    Amino acid nitrogen ≥2.6%

    Ash  ≤2.6%

    pH  5.5 

    Loss  ≤3.0% on drying

Storage

    This product is moisture absorbable and should be stored in cool place keeping container tightly closed in a dry and well-ventilated place.
